Sometimes everyone needs a break.
Not a vacation. Those can be wonderful, but we tend to try to get the most out of them as possible. People try to visit with family the most, see the most sights, or spend time in the most meaningful ways. Wonderful, fun, exciting, but not restful.
Not an excuse to do nothing. People are evolved to save effort (and therefore calories), but indulging in much laziness can be the biggest obstacle to success. The only way to reach goals is effort, and as long as people choose meaningful goals, then it’s worth it.
But everyone needs a break. Recreation, relaxation, rest.
How do people balance the needs for productivity and rest?
More on that next time…
