Check out some of the same plants as the earlier post, just about two weeks later.
Now this isn’t so much about me as about the vegetables. After all, they do most of the work. It’s fun to watch them change daily. I plan to harvest some radishes tomorrow morning. Maybe they could get a bit bigger, but bigger vegetables aren’t always better. And then the carrots in the same rows can get more light. Radish leaves are edible; I’ll try cooking them like greens or spinach leaves. Also, I’ve learned that squash want a LOT of room, but it will work out ok. I might need to plant some wildflowers nearby to help the pollinators find the blossoms on the tomatoes, squash, and cucumbers. Sort of like a barker calling, “Hurry, hurry, hurry, fly right up to the vegetable variety extravaganza!”
