Seedlings! Part 2

Check out some of the same plants as the earlier post, just about two weeks later.

The seedlings are working hard

IMG_0897Now this isn’t so much about me as about the vegetables.  After all, they do most of the work.  It’s fun to watch them change daily.   I plan to harvest some radishes tomorrow morning.  Maybe they could get a bit bigger, but bigger vegetables aren’t always better.  And then the carrots in the same rows can get more light.  Radish leaves are edible; I’ll try cooking them like greens or spinach leaves.   Also, I’ve learned that squash want a LOT of room, but it will work out ok.  I might need to plant some wildflowers nearby to help the pollinators find the blossoms on the tomatoes, squash, and cucumbers.  Sort of like a barker calling, “Hurry, hurry, hurry, fly right up to the vegetable variety extravaganza!”
